The Haworth Lighthouse A commission for Haworth Arts Festival, September 2006. Constructed from 7 sections of green oak, carved first with a chainsaw & then an anglegrinder/arbotech. Bolted together. Sculptural & functional (seating), it is sited in Haworth park, in West Yorkshire.

Fri 13th pt II pen & ink

Luke's Robot A collaboration with musician Luke Barlow, who designed it on a CAD system. It is constructed from layers of green oak (screwed together) & carved with an anglegrinder/arbotech. Eventually it will house two microphones, a computer, amplifier & speaker. It will sample ambient sounds, reprocess & then broadcast it.
